If the youth or young adult decides they want to receive TIP services, the agency will send their information to the OCP2 Clinical Integration Coordinator to start the enrollment process. The following Broward County provider agencies have staff members and wellness coaches who have received TIP training through the OCP2 grant.
Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable populations. Gulf Coast now employs over 370 case managers agency-wide and boasts a point-in-time caseload of more than 6,000 individuals. Their program covers virtually every arena of social services in 37 county area and provides a vast range of family support and counseling services.
Henderson Behavioral Health provides healthcare, housing, and hope for over 30,000 persons of all ages with behavioral health conditions in Florida each year. Through care, supported employment, advocacy, and housing, Henderson assists and inspires people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders to reclaim their lives.
Program assists youth ages 15 to 22 in drafting a “Futures Plan”, which includes vocational, educational, social, psychological, behavioral, spiritual, and personal goals. Transitioning youth are supported and given career path training, youth leadership skills, and assistance in getting affordable housing and other independent living skills.
Pace Center for Girls serves girls ages 15-22 by providing life coaching and counseling to increase protective factors and mitigate risk factors associated with delinquency as well as assisting girls transitioning to adulthood. The program helps girls develop healthy interpersonal relationships, coping skills, self-esteem, and future planning.
Smith Community Mental Health is committed to creating mental health and substance abuse programs and services designed by the needs of the Broward County communities whom we serve. As a service oriented agency, our community focus guides the creation of specialty programs and allows the agency to enhance the spectrum of services delivered to special needs youth and families.
SunServe is a nonprofit social services agency serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) community in South Florida. We provide quality culturally relevant care for all focusing on those in financial need, minorities, youth, seniors, HIV+ persons, and those with life-challenging physical or emotional conditions. We offer a myriad of education and training services.
The program serves middle & high school youth ages 12-17 with delinquency involvement. The program provides life coaching and counseling to guide and support youth in becoming successful and responsible young adults. It teaches youth anger management skills, social responsibility, character building and employability skills to ensure youth are exposed to positive activities as a way to divert them from the juvenile justice system.
